On the weekend of 18 March I told my host-parents that there was a village I wanted to visit. Its name is Andech. Carmen had recommended it to me, she told me that there was a very nice monastery. So, we went by bicke to the village. It was a bit far, so I ended up a bit tired. We went up to the highest point of the village, which was where the monastery was. And, as Carmen had told me, it was beautiful, and I liked it a lot. Afterwards, we rested a bit, had a drink and went back home through the forest, so I also enjoyed the nature on the way back. On Sunday 19th, we had another activity that I was really looking forward to. The 19th of March is Saint Josef, so it was Renate's brother's saint's day. We went to his celebration. The house of Josef and his family is amazing. They have a giant garden, and even their own sauna. They also have part of a river in their garden, and several trees. Their house is spectacular.
